Terms & Conditions — Peliccan Cars
Scope of Agreement
These Terms & Conditions define the responsibilities and expectations between you (the passenger) and Peliccan Cars, a private hire operator authorised by Transport for London. By booking with us, you acknowledge your acceptance of these terms.
Booking Authority and Role
Peliccan Cars, as a TfL-accredited operator, is legally required to enter into contracts directly with customers. Although the journey is performed by a licensed private hire driver, the legal responsibility and duty of care remain with the operator.
How Bookings Are Managed
Bookings are considered confirmed upon issuance of a confirmation message via email, text, or app notification. The Company may refuse bookings if operational or safety risks are identified.
Fare Breakdown and Payments
Quoted prices are locked at the time of booking. Fares include our service fee, which may carry VAT where applicable, and the driver's share. Additional costs such as congestion charges or parking will be itemised if known.
Cancellation Conditions
- Bookings cancelled more than 12 hours before pickup receive a full refund.
- Cancellations within 12 hours are non-refundable unless due to confirmed flight issues.
- Refunds are issued within 3–7 business days to the original payment method.
Passenger Responsibility
It is the passenger’s duty to book an appropriate vehicle class for the number of passengers and luggage. Any mismatch may result in delays, cancellation, or surcharges.
Wait Time & Late Arrivals
Free waiting time: 45 minutes post-flight landing at airports, 15 minutes at all other locations. Waiting beyond this incurs charges per minute as outlined in our pricing policy.
Limits of Responsibility
Peliccan Cars does not accept liability for disruptions caused by heavy traffic, extreme weather, road closures, or other external factors beyond its operational control.
Lost Property Procedures
Items accidentally left behind in vehicles will be returned when located. We are not liable for their recovery or condition.
Confidentiality and Data Usage
Customer data is used solely for booking management, operational improvement, and regulatory compliance. We adhere strictly to the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).
Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
This agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales. Legal proceedings will be resolved in English courts under these laws.
