The tower, which appears to have been built during Henry VII's reign, is made of soft stone mixed with flint, and the font is gothic. The memorials of James Clitherow can be seen in the chancel. Esq., who passed away in 1682; Christopher Clitherow, Esq., who passed away in 1727; and James Clitherow, Esq., who passed away in 1752. The tombs of Mary, relict of Sir Edward Spencer and daughter of John Gouldsmith, Esq., who died in 1658, are located at the east end of the church.
